the beginning

The beginning of the New Year (shogatsuko hajime).

I'm sure you've heard of it somehow.
Originally, December 8th of the lunar calendar was said to be the beginning of things.

You can probably guess it by the name, but
It's the day to start preparing for the New Year.

Firewood for making Osechi dishes,
The custom of going to the mountains to photograph the pine trees needed for Kadomatsu,
There seems to be a custom of ``soot removal'' and ``matsu welcome''.

Even today, people clean soot at temples and shrines,
Spring cleaning still remains in our daily lives.
(I'm giving a sharp explanation, but this is Keko, who wrote the other day that she was having a hectic December😅)

Even when you're in a hurry to get started, take a break with some warm Sencha tea.

While preparing for the New Year while humming,
Enjoy some sweet and bitter sencha during your relaxing time.
Get rid of your fatigue, now let’s push it one more time✨
