For the price and the fact that you get 100g of Uji matcha, this is such a great deal! However, I would personally prefer Fuji no Shiro over this Starter, especially since the prices are very similar. I find the aroma of Fuji no Shiro to be better, with a slightly nutty and smoky scent.
That said, if you don’t like smoky matcha and prefer something with a stronger umami taste, I would recommend this Starter instead. I think it works better as a daily matcha, especially with milk. Personally, I don’t really enjoy drinking it as usucha or as a clear matcha because I find the flavor less enjoyable that way.
Overall, it’s definitely worth trying, especially for the amount you get at this price. But if I were to choose again, I would probably go for another matcha rather than this one.
