Sencha Tokichi was born in search of the ideal type of sencha. By aging it over the summer like wine, it has an elegant balance of bitterness and astringency, sweetness and umami, and a rounded texture. It is a sencha that tastes rich.
It grows in a high-altitude area called Dosenbo Dosenbo in Kyoto, and you can feel the scent of trees and mountains penetrating your sense of smell.
